Inquiry into PIP and ESA Assessments – Henry Foulds

Parliament’s Work and Pensions Committee have published their report into the effectiveness of PIP and ESA assessments. It can be viewed here.

I am pleased that the Committee have published their report and that it has received media attention. This article talks about claimants’ horrendous experiences, such as people with Down’s syndrome being asked when they “caught” their condition or people with mental health problems being asked why they have not yet killed themselves.

I gave evidence to the Inquiry in my capacity as a claimant of PIP, which can be accessed here.
