Disability, the Equality Act and the Labour Party – Henry Foulds

I’m proud to be a disabled person,  a disability rights activist and a Labour member. That’s why I’m so pleased to have worked alongside DEAL to create guidance for Labour Party members and officials at all levels on how the Equality Act applies to political parties and the inclusion of disabled people.

As you can read, the experiences of disabled members are often less than desirable and I would encourage everyone to read the handbook. Remember: knowledge is power.
